I have PCOS, and my Dr. is putting me back on Diane because it's a powerful anti-androgen. I've been on it before and am monitored, so I'm not worried about the health risks.
Anyway, we have no health insurance, so if anyone has any they aren't using and could cheaply sell or give to me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I do! I had planned on giving it to Nona, but then they changed the protocol and it wasn't recommended. Here's my email address: wastelands@earthlink.netI have never mailed medication before. Do I have to do anything special? Send me your info, and I'll send it to you. It's only 29 pills, but I am glad someone can get some use out of it. Sorry for the odd amount. DawnL

Diane is a birth control pill that we used to recommend and which was very effective at inducing lactation. However a study came out linking it to increased incidents of blood clots and Dr. Newman and others were very concerned about it's use. Consequently we can no longer recommend it for any of our protocols. PCOS is polycystic ovary disease syndrome. You can find out a lot by going to www.google.com and typing in PCOS. Best,
