Hi everyone, I have a 2 yr old boy who we adopted at birth. I induced lactation prior to his birth and have been breastfeeding him since day 1. I have slowly been stopping dom and just ran out 3 days ago. I thought this could be the first step to our weaning process.
I am having sharp shooting pain in my breasts randomly throughout the day...I was curious if anyone has had this happen. I am wondering if this is normal. I am still nursing my son 3ish times a day. Thanks

Now that you say that, I remember having shooting pains when I was weaning too. They did go away eventually. My supply dropped quite a bit when I stopped the domperidone.
