That's awesome. I've been doing Atkins for 5 years now! It's the healthiest way I can find to eat, and it's not as hard to keep up as other plans. Tonight we're having grilled steaks and buttered asparagus for dinner. I could never go back to fatfree yoghurt and rice cakes after actually enjoying what I eat for so long!

I want to know the same thing. I need to lose about 50 pounds and my breastfed son is almost 20 months. I watch the foods I eat and get light exercise but I can't seem to lose any weight in fact I gained some in the last 4 months. I can't do Atkins because of all the meat and high fat content, I only eat chicken and fish. I have done Atkins twice and lost about 10 pounds each time but always gain it back and then some.

Hmmmmmmm....I need to lose about the same amount of weight too, Lalle. I'm not sure I'm one to give any advice! Lenore had suggested the Lemonade Diet to me, but I could not do it. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.............................

Hi Lalle,

There is a book and kit available, just search on Google for "Lemonade Diet" and it will come up, if you want to purchase something. However, you don't need to purchase any kits or books .... You don't really have to purchase the kit, all you need are lemons and grade B maple syrup which you can probably find at the supermarket. A good laxitive tea and some sea salt, cayenne pepper, an electric juicer and you're all set.

You CAN NOT EAT FOOD while doing this diet. Here is the link that has the whole thing laid out so you don't have to purchase the book, this is essentially what the book says: Info on Lemonade Diet

and here's the link to their message boards, support forums Message Boards for Lemonade Diet

I can't imagine going without food .... I get so weak and grouchy when I am hungary.

What do you think your weight gain is from? I figured mine is from the IVF plus stress plus a multitude of other factors, and possibly the protocol?

Part of my weight gain is my last preganancy. But I did really good on keeping that weight gain to around 30 pounds. I started out over weight though and so I am trying to lose baby weight and then some. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I think lately the stress factor is definitely playing in as well as age. Face it, it just gets harder to lose weight and get in shape as you get older. All the more reason to get in shape and stay that way when you are young.

Thanks for the info. I am going to go check it out.
