Hi
We are being considered for a baby due next week that has had exposure to methamphetemine. I don't know how much or how long or anything like that. Need advice? How do these babies do in the long term? Is this something that should make us consider not taking this baby?
Thanks
Joni

Joni, my advice would be to get in touch with a nurse from the NICU at your local hospital. If you have a University or learning hospital near you they are usually the ones who deal with the drug babies. Also do a web search for info. Blessings to you.

Joni,

Wish I knew more to help you out. I would do what Laurie suggested and research it on the web ... you might find a support group of sorts. I would also pray about it. Finally, try to get more info, like you said ... how much exposure, etc.

God Bless You!

Aloha,
Christina
