Hi, Just wanted to mention to Kerra and everyone that almost all herbs that induce lactation also cause low blood sugar. This may explain your hospital visits Kerra. I too cannot take any drugs, herbs or teas. I have to try to induce with just pumping and hand stimulation. I def am getting a Lact-Aid or 4. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I haven't started trying yet because of some breast pain and I am hoping everything will be ok so I can start preparing soon. Best of luck. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Would love to see how you make out with no herbs/drugs. I have heard from people who have done it. I also recently spoke to a woman who made drops of milk without any preparation (rare) but just from looking at her baby's pics and knowing he was coming home soon. The weepiness that you were experiencing is normal. Prolactin has a calming effect and when you stopped pumping, this stopped as well. The effect should be temporary.

The fluid that you are getting is called pre-milk. Your milk should be on it's way. Keep up the good work.

Hello have a question for anyone I guess I started Fenugreek Seed to day and I was reading in here and someone said that it has nicotine in it and something else this worries me I do not want to be putting these things in my system or the babies system is this really in it? Thanks Tia

Hi Tia,
Fenugreek should have only fenugreek seed and nothing else. The brand I used is Nature's Way available at Whole Foods.
