My Dh and I are getting ready to do our first set of insems with our surrogate later this week. I can hardly wait! I am very excited to get started on the protocol ASAP.

A little about us. I am 27 and my DH is 35. I have two bio children, but had to have a hyst. a few months after the birth of my son because I had pretty much constant bleeding from his birth in Oct till Feb when I had the surgery. I wish there would have been an alturnative but there wasn't. I knew at the time that I had the surgery that I still wanted to have children, but my ex husband was not very supportive and almost didn't attend the birth of our son. I breast feed both of my kids (or at least tried), I had plenty of milk but my ex was uncomfortable with me "bearing my breast" in public so I stopped after only a few weeks, his yelling and screaming about it was just stressing me out and the kids. So guess what when 3 am came I made him feed them because they didn't have to be attached to me.
I am very looking forward to my new husband and i having a child together. He already helps out with my kids and even cleans up throw up!:D
We live in Michigan and our surro lives in Alaska, so we are hoping with the 4 hour time difference (we are ahead 4 hours) that will help us out in our shipping the sperm to her.:)

I hope to get to know all of you very well.
