I posted this question in the wrong place before~! What are the difference between the Lact Aid & the SNS? The SNS looks easier to use. My LactAid is messy and drippy. But if it is better for her suck, I'll stick with it. <img src="http://www.asklenore.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

Hi Shannon,

I never used one myself but from what I've heard the ladies prefer the Lact-aid because it's more discreet but it's also messy. Marimar has a sort of comparison of the two on her site here: http://marimar_1.tripod.com/a_nursing.html Just scroll down to the section on Supplementers and you'll see it.

Hope this helps. Fondly,

Shannon,

I like the sns beteer, but I hate the bag things. Also, being a large woman - I had no trouble hiding the sns - except during the heat wave, but I usually didn't try to.

I also had no problem nursing laying down like others did/do with it, I just truned the bottle.

Jane

I prefered the lact-aid personally not only b/c of the laying down aspect but I really liked the idea of being able to get all the air out of the bag before feeding DD. It seems to me it would cause less gas than the SNS.

Susan
Mom to Belle and Evan both who benefited from the protocol. And Xander the breastfeeding wonder!
