I have 6 months old adopted son with me and I wanna breast feed him. I know I am late as he is already six months old, but still I wanna give it a shot.
I have been taking Domperidone for last one week and started pumping three days ago. I been getting some drops of milk since since I started pumping, today I collected those drops in a small syringe and gave it to my son. MY question is, Do I have to start the accelarated protocol to get a better supply of milk,
with yasmin and Dom together or I can jt add some other things like feungreek seeds. A responce will be greatl appreciated.
Just to give more information, I have never been pregnant and that is my first adopted child and firt try to breastfeed.
Thanks a lot. Nabeela

What kind of a pump are you using? Will your baby latch onto your breast right now or is he taking only bottles?
Do you have a supplemental nursing system like a lact-aid? There are a couple ways you could go but with a little information it will help to knwo what you are doing now.

I am using medela original style electric pump and been doing it 4 times daily for 5-10 minutes. Because of the low supply of milk I have decided to start accelarated protocol and started it yesterday. I hope i will get DOM soon. Thanks for your response.

So if you have started the bcp and dom you need to stop pumping until you complete the bcp part of the protocol. How long are you planning on staying on the accelerated?
Do you have dom right now and are just waiting for more?
