Hello!

Last year I did the accelerated protocol, and it took me a few weeks to start getting anything really, but I was able to pump enough for a full supply.

This year, I did the accelerated protocol again, but stayed on bcp longer... pumping immediately almost brought milk, but I can't seem to pump more than 1oz out of each breast at a time... its been the same for a while now... anything more I can do??

I am pumping with a good schedule, dom & fenugreek, oatmeal as much as I can stomach... anything else I can do??

I just counted up what I have frozen, and its nearly 1000 ounces!! I didn't think I had that much!!! smile smile smile So, when baby comes next week I can supplement no problem, I have an SNS already. I would just like to not "have" to...

This may sound stupid... especially since I have had three bio children... but how much should I expect the baby to drink?? LOL. I only ever offered the breast to them for about 6 months, so I have no idea what to expect in terms of volume with the supplementer. How silly does that sound?

Kristen that isn't silly at all. Are you still taking the dom? Do you do the breast massage in the middle of your pumping? That can really help.

So have you ever pumped more than 1oz this time around? What I mean is you aren't going backwards, right? I think when baby arrives your production will increase. smile

no, not more than 1oz off each breast this time. No, not going backwards. Just frustrated is all.

I know I'm being impatient, I am just wishing I didn't have to use the supplementor at all, it looks awkward...

so close to 2 oz total each pumping? That is actually great!!! What pump are you using? It is a double pump right?

I guess maybe maybe I'm just a whiner?? LOL... last time around I could pump 4oz out of each side no problem, and when I had my bio children I could pump over 5...

Yes I have a double pump, the PIS (which was free thanks to my insurance company, I wished I could have had a limerick, and they would have if the medical supply place would carry it frown )

I guess I was just impatient... I'm up to 5oz each pumping session now (about 2.5 each side). I'm only pumping 6x a day... I know I should probably add two more in, but I think I will just leave it where its at until Baby comes home, and let her lead the rest of the way. What do you think?
