What has been people's experiences flying and bring their breast pumps. Any hassle going through security check points?

What about pumping on the plane? I have the Limerick and have the battery pack with it. I will be sitting in a window seat and just figure I would pump there. What have others done? I really dislike the bathrooms on airplanes and don't really want to pump in there if I can avoid it. And my daughter will wonder where I am and my freak out a little even though my mom and sister will be traveling with me too.

Thanks.

Hello,

I had the security people look at it and wonder - once I explained what it was they let me pass in a hurry! But keep it out and handy because they will want to see it.

I would definitley recommend pumping in your seat and not the bathroom - too many people knock at the door which makes it stressful and then not much happens! Who cares if people wonder what the sound is (-:

Good luck - where are you flying to?
