Hi Teresa,
I don't mind responding publically if it will help someone. As far as helping you with a diagnosis, your best bet is to speak with your physician or Dr. Alan Beer or his associate Dr. Joanne Kwak-King.
From what I have heard you are in very good hands with Dr. Beer. I know several women that went to his clinic and ended up with healthy and happy babies. I know of 43 babies that were born as a result of his intervention including my son...I'll explain further down.
In my case, because we had narrowed my problem down to my immune system and because I was 38 years old, and because we had experienced 8 miscarriages and because we were not willing to sacrifice anymore embryos (to me they were babies) and because IVIG was $20,000 per pregnancy and not covered by our insurance, and because the medications that I had to take were affecting my heart (I have a minor heart condition) and because we were able to make decent embryos, we opted for gestational surrogacy.
This way we could make the embryos, transfer them to another woman to carry, and bypass my immune system. We used the Center for Surrogate Parenting and Egg Donation in California. The nice thing about California is that your name goes right on the birth certificate which is why we're called "intended parents" rather than "adoptive parents".
So if we bypassed my immune system how did Dr. Beer figure into the birth of our son? Well it turned out that our surrogate had antiphospholipids and so she did the heparin/aspirin therapy. If we had not known about this, I'm convinced we would have lost our son to miscarriage.
If you want to read my story you can find it here:
http://www.asklenore.info/breastfeeding/mothers_story.html Our son was born 2 months premature but it had nothing whatsoever to do with immune problems. It was low lying placenta that ended up covering the cervix, which ended up causing bleeding and premature labor. In the end, everything worked out fine. Our son is 3 years old, and can already read and write.
I was able to induce lactation using the Newman-Goldfarb protocols

There are many ways to deal with infertility and recurrent miscarriage. If you are determined, and I see that you are, then you will become a mom.
