Can any of the meds or herbs i'm taking cause severe bleeding gums? i just came back from a dental checkup and they were alarmed how much my gums bled, as if i was taking meducation or something that was causing it.
i take dom, fenugreek, blessed thistle, goats rue & brewer's yeast.

You did the full protocol right? When I was pegnant I had bleeding gums. Since the protocol mimics pregnancy I would guess it could be from that. Did they say to be worried?

Not worried, but almost confused.... I mean, everytime I floss they always bleed.. alot.... today at my checkup, everytime they poked around i bled alot and were like, where did this come from.... and they asked me if I was on any medication. I didnt get into the whole Induced Lactation thing, cause ir eally didnt think the dentist knew what domperidone and all the herbs were for anyway.... it's exhausting trying to explain the whole spiel for thos who dont know....
but since u said pregnancy can cause bleeding gums, then I guess it is from the meds then? they wanted me to go back for a "deep cleaning" to try to fix the problem possibly where they would numb me up all over and really get into my gums to clean, give me antibiotcs and everything.... sounded major and I didnt want to go thru all that while i was pumping....

I would avoid any dental work - just keep flossing, and use mouth rinse - it won't hurt in the short run!

I have been on the protocol for over 70 days. No one has more dental work than me and I was at the dentist just last week. He commented on how great my gums were and how amazing it was that I had practically no bleeding. I floss nightly and use a rubber tip; jamming it between the teeth and going round the base both sides.

I am taking Yasmin, Dom and Goat's Rue.

Patience
