Am I right to assume your triplets were born on March 3? Are they ok? What is the reason you want to stop pumping? My son Adam was a 32 weeker and didn't take the breast right away which was difficult but I kept pumping for him. You can read our story here:

The most important thing you can do for preemies is provide breastmilk because they are so vulnerable to necrotizing enterocolitis. Even tiny amounts are so important. The other think is skin to skin contact or Kangarroo Care which keeps your babies against your chest listening to your heartbeat. They grow so much better and come home so much quicker with these two interventions.

Best, Lenore

For some reason, they really dislike my milk. We used a surrogate who is pumping milk and they have no problem with her milk. With mine, frozen or fresh, they scream, cry, are fussy, i dont know..... maybe it's something i'm eating, maybe it's the herbs, i'm not sure... but with triplets i really dont have the luxury of playing around. I just want to get them fed and that's it. they have had 7 weeks of breastmilk so far and i have plenty of my surro's milk for them.
I was told by a LC that i may make too much Lipase possibly. Anyway, i've decreased my Dom and i've stretched out my pumping and only pump enough to give me some engorgement relief. Am I doing this right?
