I'm heavier since I've been on the BCP for 5 months, now that I'm done with the regular protocol and pumping, AND if i loose weight will i make less milk??

Do thinner women make less milk?
Does fat contribute to making milk?

I'm wondering if i should maintain the weight i put on, or let it shed naturally, my baby is coming in 4 -6 weeks!

Thanks,
Marica.

If you shed your weight naturally it will not affect your supply. BUT if you aren't taking in enough calories and are "dieting" then you could jeopardize your supply.

Thinner women do not make less milk. Healthy women of all sizes make good milk. smile
