Hi there, I am new to this board. My husband and I are adopting. Our birthmom is due the middle of March. I met with a lactation consultant who gave me the accelerated protocol to induce lactation which I started last Friday. My physician was against prescribing Yasmin and prescribed me the 1.5/30 Microgestin which I am taking plus Motilium. I'm just wondering if I should pursue trying to still obtain Yasmin. It would probably take me a couple weeks to get into another doc, plus based on my doctor, he/she would want to do research on induced lactation which would be more time. With the time I have before the baby is here, I'm not sure that I would end up being able to take it for very long and am not sure how beneficial it would be to be on it for a short time. Any thoughts or advice?

Thanks! Linda

I was going to suggest the Ortho 35 too. I am on Yasmin and haven't had any problems.
