I'm going to start pumping next weekend and I wanted to know when I should plan to stop the BCP. Do I stop it the day before or do I have to stop it a few day's prior? The protocol doesn't say. It just says to stop the BCP and start pumping.

I took my last BCP on a Thursday morning. I started pumping on Friday afternoon. I might have started sooner but we were driving all night and that morning to get there. I think you should probably start pumping about 24 hours after taking your last pill.

Thanks for your reply. I emailed Lenore and got my answer. She says to start pumping right when you stop the pill. Like the day you stop so that's what I'll do. Although I'm sure with in 24 hours is fine too.
