This is my first post to the board.
Where should i start. I have had 5 children, all breast fed.
I had a tubaligation in 1995 and had a tubal reversal in 2005.
I have had four pregnancies since all ending in M/C.
Good news is we will be adopting a newborn, straight from the hosp. in Jan.
I have been reading alot about breastfeeding an adopted child and i was reading on this website last night and felt what use to feel like a "let down reflex".
Sure enough i managed to express a few drops of clear from the left and orange (assuming colostrum) from the right. Followed by clear.
Has this ever happpened to anyone without the use of meds or pumping?
I am still in shock and i have a few drops today as well.
What protocol should I use? I have ordered 500 tabs of domperidone as well as a good pump.
I am clueless and very excited.Help please.

I would do the regular protocol. I would start on the domperidone and Birth control pills for a couple months. Then stop the BCP's 4-6 weeks before the baby is due and start pumping. Add in the herbs.
It might be good news that you can express a few drops, but it would be very unusual to produce large amounts without the domperidone.

Ditto! Congrats on the upcoming baby. I am a mom of 4 doing another surrogacy for number 5. So glad to see a mom with several kiddos on here.:)
