Hi Bella and Mary,
I got to save 1.0 cc yesterday in a syringe. I sucked it up with a needle. Alot of the time my drops seem to get stuck in the yellow and white part of the PIS bottle collection kit.
We should be getting a referral very soon for a newborn girl. We will leave after my son gets out of school June 18th.
We are planning on staying around six weeks this summer. Unfortunately, we will then have to leave her there in foster care. We will go back for one week in October, then go in December to pick her up. Hopefully she will be ready to come home before Christmas.
I am starting to pack on my days off. I bought everything except the diapers, I do not know what size yet to get,,,I do have cloth diapers also. But doing laundry by hand, it is a little labor intensive to use cloth.
I have the deluxe Lact-aid kit, I had also bought the SNS.
My son is a genius when it comes to putting things together, so I am sure we will be able to figure these things out when we get there.
Thanks for your help, still deciding what to do with the pumping vs. going back on meds. Take care, Cathy

Cathy-- that is great you got some milk saved-- good for you! And what an exciting time of baby prep--- I can't wait to hear you have your referral. Will you have a picture to share?

Thanks Mary,
I have actually had the nursery put together for about 8 years. We never thought it would take this long for a second child. We built our home when our son was 3, now there is going to be such a big age gap, he is 11 now. But, this is how things work out.
I have 2 syringes with 1.0 cc in each in the freezer...enough for 2 mouthfull's! My right breast sure is being stubborn, still only 1 drop, even after 1 hour of pumping. My left is def. a better producer so far.
When we get our referral, the facilitator has a web site that she posts the babies pictures on and puts "matched with Dave and Cathy etc..." We are using Adoption Partners.net
Guatemalan adoption specialist. They have a website, you can see some of the cuties on there photo section, start with page 2.
Hope you get your referral soon, I can't wait until I am pumping in ounces instead of teaspoons, shouldn't be too much longer. Thanks, Cathy
